Brasas Mexican Grill in Provo

I don’t really like Mexican food, but really like Brasas especially the steak street tacos. From 4-5:00 on weekdays it’s happy hours and the tacos are two for one which makes it a great deal! The salsa is fresh and the chips have a nice super crispy texture. I love supporting local businesses and this is one we go to a lot.

The tacos are super good. I really enjoyed the pork. Totally worth it.

Best Street Mexican food you'll find in all of Utah. A little pricey, but there's really nothing like it anywhere else in the area. Highly recommend the Aztec fries and Tijuana Burrito.

Awesome food, great service, great atmosphere, unfortunately out of the way location.This place is so much better than Don Joaquin Street tacos or Ana be other competitors in the area, and it just happens to be a little bit cheaper as well. I come here just for the street tacos pretty frequently but I hear that the other menu items are really good too. Next time I come I guess I’ve got to get the Astec Fries, which are apparently to die for.

Guys this is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Provo - I'm on a search to find the best Mexican restaurants around. Outstanding things about Brasas - great service (They let me practice my Spanish which means a lot to me and were super nice and helpful when answering my questions), excellent quality food (I got the burrito loco and it had all kinds of delicious meats and other things), and a really nice and spacious dining room. Don't skip Brasas; it's the way to go!

This is my favorite Mexican grill in Utah County! Incredible food, fast service! And they've got a rewards program now! Today I got a free pork tostada (it was loaded!) with my meal!

We love Brasas! Best carne asada in Utah. It is a great family friendly environment, good food, good prices. We will be going more often.

My wife loves the food so we came and 30 minutes later we are still in their drive thru this was a huge waist of our time

The best Mexican food I have had in Utah. Cute restaurant. Sweet front desk girl. Delicious homemade sauces and chips. The steak is unbelievable. That taste is hard to accomplish & it is perfection!!! Good music. Comfy seating. About a 5 minute wait to get your food. We’ll be back times a million!! :)

Solid street tacos and California Burrito, one of my favorite places to hit up after climbing at the Quarry. That might be the most Provo sentence I've ever said, but it really is a pretty decent place to hit up. Lots of options from authentic to mex-american goods, very flavorful and great salsa bar. Worth checking out. I enjoy it every time.

It was our first time and the guy in the front was very welcoming and offered several great suggestions for us to try. Glad we listened because we now have a new favorite Mexican restaurant. The food came out very quickly and it was absolutely delicious. We will absolutely be back. Many more times.

My fav street tacos in town. I stop when I’m in the area whether I’m hungry or not. Al pastor. Roasted peppers from the salsa bar. Happiness.

Pretty average Mexican food. They have a salsa bar which is great. I wasn’t a fan of the Texas burrito it had a weird aftertaste that I couldn’t identify.

I adore the happy hour deal. 2 tacos for the price of one. Or in my case, 6 tacos for the price of three. I suggest the El Pastor with pinapple.

I am amazed at what a fantastic, and delicious restaurant this turned out to be. I had seen the reviews and decided to come try. I am so glad I did. The place does look a lil dated, but charming. The cashier was super nice and friendly and with a great smile. I was at first thinking the prices were to high considering the look of the place but after tasting the carne asada tacos and azteca fries, it’s a bargain. The meat is juicy and not over cooked or dry like it is most everywhere else. I moved from California out here and I thought I had found another restaurant that was fairly good. But this place, to me is the best one and I don’t think it can be topped. Please try them, they are a party in your mouth!!

Delicious food. And the best horchata drink I have ever had. The chips are thick and yummy. There is a whole salsa bar with options for everyone.

Quick service and flawless steak nachos. One of the best hidden places in Provo! Sometimes hard to find but look for the big sign right off Univ Parkway Amazing marinated steak with guacamole and chipotle stuff etc. good vibes. About the closest thing to California Mexican food I've found.

I love Brasas! Best tacos Al pastor I've found. Their beans and rice are delicious as well as their salsa. Checks all the boxes of a great Mexican place.

Great tacos, great atmosphere. More than just a place to go for tacos, it feels like somewhere you could go to meet up with friends and hang out.

Food was delicious, and the workers were friendly and on top of things. On a Saturday night I didn’t wait longer than 10-15 minutes when I came in with a group of 8. Roomy and fun environment, too!

Every time I come here it’s delicious! The service is always so fast and so helpful! And best of all, you get a great bang for your buck! This is one of my favorite places to take my wife out when we’re hungry for Mexican food!!

Love their salsa bar and their home style chips. I've had the asada, Al pastor, chicken, fish and shrimp tacos. Shrimp were my favorite! I've also had their tortas, delicious! Visit often, it's just one of those places that you crave. Variety of drinks and menu items to choose from.

DELICIOUS, especially that 31" 10 pounder!! The chips in the pics are standard sized corn chips, even though they look tiny.

We LOVE Brasas!! The tacos and burritos are my favorite. The meat is really delicios and the service is always quick and the staff is so nice! I had a chance to meet the owners and they are so kind and passionate about their restaurant.

AMAZING. I got the New Mexico burrito (which was ginormous), and a little spicy. My wife got three steak tacos. The tacos and burritos were really good.

I moved from Arizona last year and really missed having authentic Mexican food, but we finally found our new favorite Mexican food place here in Utah!! This is definitely the best Mexican food I've had in the valley - the tacos are amazing! We actually went back and ordered more because they were so good. The staff is very friendly and food came fast.

As delicious as ever. This time we tried one of their street tacos and were not disappointed. Honestly you get a great amount of food for what you pay and some of the best meat out there. Only complaint is the meat seemed just a little underdone here vs when we ate at their other location, but honestly a wonderful meal and still recommend the Tijuana.

Highly recommend this place for some great Mexican food. Personal favorite are the Azteca fries. You get a good size portion for what you pay for. You can see with the picture I posted . Don’t forget to grab some horchata. That just makes the perfect meal.

It's not the best Mexican in Provo, but certainly better than some I have had. The portions are quite ample and could easily be shared by two people. It was a bit late so I did take that into account for the food. Beware of the mild sauce. It's not. This from a person that grew up in SoCal with more choices than Provo had to offer. We ordered the tamale player and the 4 tacos (2 each, beef and chicken). At first I wasn't sure which I started on as the chicken was mostly dark meat and looked a bit like the beef. The flavors were good and we certainly didn't leave hungry. Be careful getting a top for the container, it really didn't for to well. Certainly a good place for a quick bite when you're on the go.

Very friendly staff, and quick service. We ordered the California burrito, a chicken taco and a steak taco. The burrito is massive and super tasty, but there's barely any pico de Gallo. The tacos had more meat than your traditional street tacos. The steak taco was delicious, the chicken one was good. The steak was kind of fatty. The strawberry shortcake is light and not too rich, very tasty!

This is a hidden gem for Mexican food lovers! We were visiting Provo from Arizona and loved the authentic Mexican cuisine. The waitress was amazing! A must-stop for anytime we go back!

I ordered the steak tacos and Aztecs fries. They were delicious. The seating area was in a little disarray and it's very casual. Overall the food is good quality and reasonably priced.

This is some good Mexican food. I can't speak with confidence, but this tastes pretty authentic and is made with high quality ingredients. It's well priced for the quality and quantity of food you get.

Warning: Beef tacos are just small flour tortillas and beef gristle. Their outdoor tent had a heater but even at full heat, it didn’t provide enough heat even on a relatively warm evening. The one person running the place was nice, but the overall experience was less than a dive. Not sure why they get so many 5 stars. Must be fake.

One of my favorite places for a casual bite. Delicious flavor and nice staff. Only messed up an order once, and they fixed it right away. Rewards program is nice too!

This place is super yummy and the food always tastes like it's made to order. Definitely try this place! Especially their burritos!

The steak Azteca fries are crispy and delicious, great serving size for 2-3 people. Worth it for this dish alone. Great for work meetings and carry out too.

We eat at Brasas often! We love the authentic flavors and the salsa bar. The outdoor eating area reminds us of the real deal of enjoying tacos in Mexico...even in winter it's warm in the heated patio tent.

Delicious! Sadly they only serve table with one form tortilla. The meat is tasty however. At $2.25 the tacos are on the expensive side but they are authentic and delicious!

These are my favorite tacos in the Provo/Orem area! You can tell they use high quality meat, especially the steak. They have a wide variety of salsas, but what stands out is that they also have grilled onions and grilled cactus to put on your tacos.

Best tacos at such a great price. Also, join their rewards program--so many great details. Never had a bad experience here
